Judy Zeder

Judy Zeder moved from Michigan to Miami back in 1978, and she immediately made the Magic City her own—a place where Zeder would raise her children, launch a national award-winning real estate career, and help generations of Miami newcomers find their own piece of local happiness.

For nearly 30 years, Zeder—first on her own and now alongside her son, Nathan, daughter, Kara, and daughter-in-law, Meredith—has taken a highly personalized approach to real estate based on passion, determination, and integrity. With her deep insights and well-honed instincts, Zeder fights hard for her clients in every deal, of every size, and in every location.

In 2019, the Jills Zeder Group was formed in affiliation with Coldwell Banker Realty. Judy Zeder and her family joined Jill Hertzberg and her children, Danny Hertzberg and Hillary Hertzberg Benson, and sisters Jill and Felise Eber, forming The Jills Zeder Group. The three families have brought in a total of $8 billion in cumulative sales since their formation, and the Group boasts full-service offices in both Coral Gables and on Miami Beach.

Almost immediately, the Jill Zeder Group was a remarkable success. In 2022, the group was named the No. 1 large team on "The Thousand" out of all real estate teams at all brokerages throughout the United States.

On a more local level, the Zeders have consistently been one of the top residential real estate groups in both Miami and Miami-Dade  County for multiple years in a row. The Zeders have also repeatedly placed in the top one-half of one percent of all real estate teams nationwide. Zeder herself was named one of South Florida’s “Most Influential Business Women” by South Florida Business Journal for 2023, and that same year, she was awarded a Miami-Palm Beach Power Broker Award by The Hollywood Reporter and received the Sports & Wellness Award from the Coral Gables Community Foundation. She was recently awarded the 2024 Industry MVP Award from The South Florida Agent Magazine and was named SocialMiami’s Philanthropist of the Year in 2025. She has also received the Spark Award numerous times for her philanthropic work at Baptist Hospital.

Luxury prime villas, estates and waterfront homes are the Zeders' specialty, with a particular focus on communities such as Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest, South Miami, Ponce Davis and Palmetto Bay.

With a focus on these areas, Zeder has supported her clients through record-breaking deals, often totaling in the eight figures and always with a keen focus on her clients' wants and needs. But for Zeder, price is just one of the many areas of expertise she brings to her clients. What’s truly important to her family/partners is helping clients protect and respect what is likely their most valuable asset of all—their home.

Decades after she first arrived, Zeder today displays a deep appreciation for Miami architecture, its lifestyle and the city's unique ecology and environment. More than merely introducing her clients to the city that she loves, Zeder educates them about Miami’s many distinctive aesthetics and enclaves while instilling an appreciation for its beaches, waterways and ecosystems. Zeder is thrilled at watching Miami transform into a world class global hub where entrepreneurs and CEOs integrate effortlessly into its unrivaled schools, sports and cultural diversity.

Zeder is a steward of the community. Raising funds, serving on boards telling the stories and fulfilling the missions of crucial city causes—has deeply connected Zeder to Miami's future and her part in shaping it. Real estate may be her profession, but creating an enduring sense of community is Zeder's truest talent and passion.

Zeder’s commitment to service – whether community or for her clients — first took root while leading charitable and philanthropic efforts for notable Miami-era nonprofits ranging from the Junior League and American Red Cross to the United Way of Miami to the Underline and Baptist Health Doctors Hospital where she sits on 3 boards.

Zeder is married to attorney Jon Zeder and together, they have three children and six beloved grandchildren. They reside in Miami’s prestigious Ponce Davis neighborhood.
